These small yet heavy bronze objets are produced by Ootera Kohachiro Shoten, a long-established shop founded in 1867 in Takaoka City, Japan.

The City has a 400-year history of cast iron technology. Designed by Yusuke Hayashi, these objets are made through precise, lost-wax casting, to be placed on top of desks and to be looked at with admiration. Although these items are small in size due to the heaviness of bronze, the objets may also be used as simple paperweights.

Due to the nature of the product, small irregularities and uneven colors may occur in the metal fabric. We hope you will enjoy them as the individuality of artisan made products.
