2 ½ x 1 5/8 - inches. W. R. Midwinter Ltd. bowl from the 1930s-1950s, featuring the "Rural England" pattern in brown transferware. Known for its depiction of farmhouse scenes with cows, greenery and figures, the bowl was produced in Burslem, England and is part of a collection of tableware produced by William Robinson Midwinter's company, which was a prominent innovator in British tableware production.

The mark on the bottom of the piece reads "Rural England, Midwinter Ltd, Burslem, England" and features a crown symbol.

In very good pre-loved condition. The perfect spot for rings when addressing wedding invitations, or storing postage stamps, paper clips and trinkets. This one is a gem.
